What an idea: create a beautiful sculptural glass form, etch into the surface inspirational words and phrases, and then cover that surface in gold. That is what Stephen Schlanser did for you and your loved ones. It’s called The ABC’s of Life platter. Each letter of the alphabet is represented by an inspirational word.

Stephen Schlanser has been making stained glass as well as slumped, etched and sandblasted glass for years. Each starts from a piece of sheet glass which is carefully shaped inside a closed kiln after being heated to a melting temperature. After each one is allowed to cool, it is hand cut and polished.
